Lesbian & Gay

It comes as a surprise to visitors to find such a compact L&G scene locally, though it’s one that’s rapidly expanding. This year saw the launch of Flamingos, Bristol’s biggest gay club, and we’ll soon see the addition of not one but three new bars. There’s an annual Gay Fringe Festival, the Lesbian & Gay Film Festival and a new, weekend-long Village Pride, plus women’s groups, cinema, arts, sports and social groups – even a three-day Bear Fiesta. Whatever you’re into, or whoever you’re out to, you’re guaranteed to find something.
