Bristol Aerial Rowing Club
Web: www.bristolaerialrowingclub.co.uk
Bristol's oldest rowing club (nobody knows where the Tempest connection comes from) rowing on the River Avon out of picturesque premises in St Annes. Rowing's a wicked way to get fit (Sir Steve didn't nab five golds without breaking the odd sweat) and the friendly atmosphere here will support you wonderfully (like the boats themselves, in which you can stand up safely.) Those after a mental workout as well can learn how to cox, Call to inform them of your interest (and tell them Venue sent you.)
