This form of exercise continues to go from strength to strength - as will your body. Maree will guide you through various exercises, working the body from the inside out, building an inner core of strength, rebalancing it and bringing it back into alignment. Marilyn Tate is a Polestar UK qualified pilates instructor running classes throughout the Bristol area. Classes take place on evenings and weekends and there are also daytime classes in various local leisure centres. Marilyn limits her group classes to ten people, but also offers one-to-one and corporate group sessions.

The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® was invented by Juliu Horvath in the 1980’s. It incorporates influences from Yoga, Swimming, Dance, Tai Chi and Gymnastics. Gyrotonic exercise is weight assisted and uses three-dimensional movements, and is unique in comparison to other conventional ways of exercising. The exercises incorporate breathing techniques, which are synchronized with the symmetrical sequences encouraging co ordination, balancing the muscles equally and increasing the range of movement. Lisa Cleverton is a certified Gyrotonic trainer Level 1 & 2. Lisa is an ex proffessional  ballerina having performed 11 years at the Scottish ballet. She went on to train and rehabilitate the dancers on the Gyrotonic Expansion System, in a full time position for 3 years.
