Within the picturesque Victorian grounds of Clifton College you may be surprised to find a modern gym, heated indoor swimming pool and a wide variety of other up-to-the-minute sports facilities. The gym has been refitted within the last year and is well equipped with an extensive range of weights equipment, cardiovascular machines and weights. This 38-station fitness suite is spacious and airy and is also a base for personal trainers and coaches who can help you to decide the most effective exercise methods for you and may also offer dietary and lifestyle advice tailored specifically for you. The swimming pool is kept at 30°C and is 25m long. There are adult-only swimming sessions on offer as well as early morning opening, and on Sunday mornings, there are fun swim sessions for all the family. As part of the membership package, when you join the centre you will be able to use outdoor tennis courts between April and September, and for the die-hard racquet enthusiasts there are squash and badminton courts available all year round. Classes on offer at the sports centre include aerobics, circuit training and kickboxing, proving that there really is a way for everyone to enjoy getting fit and staying that way!
